Meeting?
Thursday, January 10th, 2008 by AliHowdy all,
I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting this Saturday, the 12th, at Remedy at 1?
I can’t make it on the 19 because I work, but I’d still love to see you all… Let me know if anyone wants to come.
Ali

Friday, December 14th, 2007 by MelOur next stitch and bitch is TBA but for your consideration. A quick note while I should be making use of my employment but am stealing away for some crochetese.
Ideas for next stitch since we HOPEFULLY will have some newbies.
Ideas for experimental projects, fresh ideas from such places as this
What’s next?
Friday, November 30th, 2007 by kninjetteSo, I’ve got all these projects on the go, but I’ve finally finished the blanket that made me insecure. For some reason, I’ve been all 12-year-old-girl-not-knowing-what-to-wear about this blanket for Andrea, but I finally bit the bullet and finished it. I have a bit of sewing to do, and then I will post the picture. But, all the stitching is done. It’s a combo knit, crochet and sewn baby item, that I hope will be enjoyed by those who use it.
I’m so close to finishing that one gift that I will not mention for fear of letting the receiver know what it is, but am so close I can taste it. I’d like to make a wool hat to walk home in, since I am enjoying the daily pedestrian activity, but I fear it will just be a distraction from all the other things I must do. Will my stitch work never end? No, and I think that is the point. Still, I’ve gotta love it.
In sort of related news, as many people know, I love listening to audiobooks while I stitch at work, and last night I finished Coraline. It was quite enjoyable, and very creepy. Especially when you realise it is written for kids. eeek! next up: Nineteen Eighty Four. I’m looking forward to it
I’m new to this blogger thing, so bear with me
Sunday, November 4th, 2007 by kninjetteI guess I have to “approve” all comments made by not me or my other admins, so please be patient with me when it comes to comments.
In other news, my socks are nearly complete. A picture will follow as soon as I am home and in front of my photobooth.
My yarn posse might come up with some hand dyed sock yarn in the near future . . more to come on that front in a bit
